Clearly I've been slacking..

Ok so.. I kind of suck at life sometimes. Alright, not really but I'm frustrated at the lack of blogging done on this blogpost. Blerg. That'll change. I suppose since I have no followers though, it's not been an issue. Eh? ;)

So for my first post, I'd like to share a GREAT recipe for all you meat-eaters out there. I made a DELISH Apple Butter Pork Loin for dinner and lots of ppl asked for the recipe, so HERE YA GO! ENJOY.

INGREDIENTS:
1 pre-packaged pork loin (I used one that was 1.7 lb. Great for family of 4.)
Seasoning salt to taste.
2 C Apple Juice
1/2 C Apple Butter
1/4 C Brown Sugar
2 T Water
1/4 t Ground Cinnamon
1/4 t Ground Cloves

DIRECTIONS:
(MARINATING IS COMPLETELY OPTIONAL! If you don't have time skip "Cover and refrigerate.")
Pour apple juice in 13"x9" Pyrex pan (I prefer Pyrex, use whatever.)
Place pork loin in pan.
Cover and refrigerate for 2-3 hrs.

Preheat oven to 350°.
Combine rest of ingredients in a small bowl and stir until well-blended.
Spoon over pork loin in apple juice.

Cook 45 min.
Turn over pork loin and cook another 45 min.

  2. Cool! I had a blog once before (long gone now) but I keep thinking I should start doing it again. And yeah, I'm totally going to make pork loin sometime soon. Thanks!
